Which actor plays the role of Happy Hogan in the MCU?

Jon Favreau plays the role of Happy Hogan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Favreau first appeared as Hogan in Iron Man (2008), the film he also directed, and returned in several later MCU movies.

In the films, Happy is Tony Stark’s bodyguard, chauffeur, close friend and, eventually, head of security. After Stark’s death, he also becomes a trusted adult presence in Peter Parker’s life. Favreau has portrayed the character in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Deadpool & Wolverine.

The character originated in Marvel Comics, where Harold “Happy” Hogan first appeared in Tales of Suspense #45 in 1963. The comic-book version is closely associated with Iron Man and has occasionally become the super-powered figure called the Freak.
