What is the name of the Guardians' raccoon-like member?

The Guardians' raccoon-like member is Rocket Raccoon.

In the MCU, Rocket is an intelligent, genetically modified raccoon who becomes one of the founding members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He first appears in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), where his expertise with weapons, machinery, and spacecraft makes him essential to the team's escape from prison and battle against Ronan.

Rocket is not simply an unusually large Earth raccoon. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 reveals that he was created and experimented on by the High Evolutionary, originally identified as Subject 89P13. His painful origin also explains his guarded personality and strong bond with other altered animals, especially Lylla.

A common mix-up is Groot, Rocket's closest friend and frequent partner. Groot is the tree-like Guardian; Rocket is the raccoon-like weapons expert. Bradley Cooper provides Rocket's voice, while Sean Gunn supplied much of the character's on-set physical performance.
