What is the name of Spider-Man's best friend in the MCU?

Spider-Man's best friend in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Ned Leeds. Played by Jacob Batalon, Ned is Peter Parker's classmate at Midtown School of Science and Technology and one of the first people to discover Peter's secret identity.

Ned becomes Peter's self-described “guy in the chair” in Spider-Man: Homecoming, helping him track the Vulture and investigate high-tech crimes. He provides technical support, comic relief, and emotional loyalty while Peter struggles to balance school life with superhero responsibilities.

The MCU version differs from the traditional comic-book Ned Leeds, who is an adult Daily Bugle reporter and eventually becomes associated with the Hobgoblin identity. The film character also draws some inspiration from Ganke Lee, a close friend of Miles Morales in the comics. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, a spell causes Ned to forget his friendship with Peter, giving their relationship an unusually bittersweet turn.
