Which surveillance system is used on The Skeld?
Answer
security cameras
Answer
security cameras
The Skeld uses security cameras as its surveillance system.
Players can access the cameras from the Security room to watch selected corridors in real time. The camera feeds help Crewmates track movement, compare alibis, and sometimes catch an Impostor killing or entering a vent. Because the views cover only particular areas, camera users must interpret what they see alongside reports, task locations, and meeting testimony.
Security cameras are one of several map-specific information systems in Among Us. MIRA HQ uses Doorlog sensors, while Polus has a Vitals monitor showing who is alive. The Airship and later maps add their own layouts and information tools. Cameras are not an automatic detector: a player may be off-screen, an Impostor may avoid visible corridors, and an Engineer can use vents without necessarily proving guilt. A common mistake is assuming every map has the same surveillance setup. The Skeld’s camera network is distinctive, and using it also leaves the watcher stationary and potentially unaware of nearby events.
