Six new player colors were released with 15-player lobby support in June 2021.
Among Us expanded its original color lineup during the game's third anniversary update, released on June 15, 2021. The update added Rose, Coral, Tan, Gray, Maroon, and Banana—six colors in total—alongside support for larger 15-player lobbies.
The update was part of a broader redesign that also introduced a revamped meeting screen and other improvements. The colors were previewed during Summer Game Fest on June 10, just days before the update went live.
A common mix-up is counting only the colors first teased individually, especially Rose, or confusing the color expansion with later cosmetic additions. The number six refers specifically to the new colors released with the 15-player-lobby update, not the game's complete color roster.
