Which studio developed the Game Boy Advance version of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game?
Answer
Griptonite Games
Answer
Griptonite Games
Griptonite Games developed the Game Boy Advance version of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game.
The 2005 title had different developers across platforms. Traveller's Tales created the main versions for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Windows, while Griptonite Games handled the Game Boy Advance edition. That handheld version was therefore not developed by Traveller's Tales, TT Fusion, Universomo, or Pocket Studios.
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game was the first Lego game developed by Traveller's Tales and adapted the Star Wars prequel trilogy: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. It also included a bonus sequence connected to A New Hope. The GBA edition translated that concept to Nintendo's handheld hardware.
Eidos Interactive and Giant Interactive Entertainment published the initial versions, which creates another possible mix-up: Griptonite Games was the developer, not the publisher. The game later led to Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and, eventually, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
