The Lego Dimensions Starter Pack story revolves around Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle.
These three characters come from different fictional worlds: Batman represents DC Comics, Gandalf represents The Lord of the Rings, and Wyldstyle represents The Lego Movie. Their unlikely partnership is the central crossover premise of the Starter Pack’s fourteen-level story campaign.
The game’s plot begins when a powerful vortex threatens multiple dimensions. Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle are drawn together and travel across different worlds to stop the danger, giving the campaign its deliberately mash-up style. Their physical minifigures are included with the Starter Pack alongside the Toy Pad and Batmobile, Batblaster, and the “Gateway” build.
A common mix-up is Emmet, another major Lego Movie character. Emmet appears in Lego Dimensions through additional content, but Wyldstyle is the Lego Movie character included in the original Starter Pack story. Benny and Vitruvius are also associated with the film, but neither is the answer here.
