Which studio developed Batman: Arkham Shadow?
Answer
Camouflaj
Answer
Camouflaj
Camouflaj developed Batman: Arkham Shadow. The Seattle-based studio created the game as a virtual-reality entry in the Batman: Arkham series, working with Meta and Warner Bros. Games for the 2024 release on Meta Quest 3.
Arkham Shadow is set in 2034, before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and after Batman: Arkham Origins. It follows a younger Batman investigating the Rat King’s attacks in Gotham City. The game adapts familiar Arkham ideas—stealth, detective work, gadget use and hand-to-hand combat—to a first-person VR format.
A common mix-up is Armature Studio, which developed Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, another portable Arkham title. WB Games Montréal developed Arkham Origins, while Rocksteady Studios created Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight. Camouflaj is the developer specifically associated with Arkham Shadow.
