Which writer is credited on both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City?
Answer
Paul Dini
Answer
Paul Dini
Paul Dini is credited as a writer on both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
Dini brought extensive Batman experience to the series. He had written for Batman: The Animated Series and contributed to DC Comics stories before working on the Arkham games. His involvement helped shape the games’ versions of characters such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Mr. Freeze, while preserving the dramatic tone associated with modern Batman storytelling.
Arkham City’s writing credit is broader than Dini’s alone: Paul Crocker and Sefton Hill also received writing credits on the sequel. That distinction can cause confusion, but it does not change the answer to the question asking which writer worked on both games. Dini wrote Arkham Asylum and returned for Arkham City, released in 2011.
He did not write Batman: Arkham Knight, whose story was handled by Rocksteady’s later writing team. Adam Beechen and Corey May are linked to other Batman or video-game writing work, but neither is the shared writer identified here.
