Which Pokémon Pokopia expansion-pass part is set in a basin?

Bubbly Basin is the Pokémon Pokopia expansion-pass part set in a basin. It is the first part of the game’s paid three-part expansion pass and released in August 2026.

The expansion pass adds content beyond the original Pokopia experience. The game’s main adventure already asks players to restore habitats, attract Pokémon, and develop a neglected world. Downloadable content extends that structure with additional areas, characters, and activities.

Bubbly Basin should not be confused with the complete expansion pass. The pass is the larger purchase containing three planned parts, while Bubbly Basin is only its first named installment. The other two parts were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027 respectively.

The name is also easy to mix up with invented location names because Pokémon games frequently use descriptive regions and landmarks. In Pokopia’s documented expansion plan, the basin-themed title is specifically Bubbly Basin.
