Players can learn the move Dive from Manaphy in Pokémon Pokopia's version 2.0 update.
The free version 2.0.0 software update added Dive as a new way to interact with water. After learning it from Manaphy, players can swim alongside Water-type Pokémon and build underwater, opening access to the submerged content associated with Bubbly Basin.
The update is separate from the paid Expansion Pass, although it is required before players can use the first paid part. To learn Dive, players must complete the request “Raise the environment level!” in Bleak Beach and already know Surf and how to jump.
The move should not be confused with Surf, which is available separately and is one of the prerequisites for learning Dive. In Pokopia, moves are practical environmental tools as well as familiar Pokémon abilities, so their role extends beyond battle mechanics.
