How many players can join Pokémon Pokopia online or locally?

Pokémon Pokopia supports up to four players in local wireless or online multiplayer. The single-system mode is listed for one player, while cooperative visits and building sessions can involve a group of four.

This multiplayer design lets friends help shape created spaces and visit one another’s Pokémon towns. It complements the game’s focus on decoration, construction and shared slow-life activities rather than competitive battles.

The number four refers to the maximum participants, not the number of systems required in every mode. Nintendo’s product information distinguishes single-system play, local wireless play and online play, with additional hardware or memberships required for some online features.

Pokopia also supports GameShare, allowing a player to share access with someone who does not own a copy under the supported conditions. That feature does not change the headline capacity: the standard multiplayer limit remains four participants.
