Mosslax is the flower-topped, moss-covered Snorlax character in Pokémon Pokopia.
The character is introduced as a Snorlax with moss growing across its body and a flower swaying on its head. The design connects the normally sleepy Pokémon with Pokopia’s overgrown, nature-focused world, where long periods of neglect have allowed plants and moss to spread across the landscape and its inhabitants.
Mosslax’s name combines the visual idea of moss with the species name Snorlax. It is one of several character names that give Pokopia’s Pokémon residents identities beyond their standard species labels.
Mosslax should not be confused with Professor Tangrowth, who guides the player, or Peakychu, the pale Pikachu. Those characters have different species and roles. Mosslax is specifically the unusual Snorlax associated with moss and a flower.
