Which Pokémon appears as Professor Tangrowth in Pokémon Pokopia?

Tangrowth appears as Professor Tangrowth in Pokémon Pokopia.

Professor Tangrowth is one of the first important characters Ditto meets after taking human form. The character studies the ruined environment and seeks to understand why humans and Pokémon disappeared from the region.

The title “Professor Tangrowth” distinguishes this story character from an ordinary wild Tangrowth. The character acts as a researcher and guide, helping frame the game's environmental mystery and its focus on rebuilding habitats.

Tangrowth is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. Its appearance fits the game’s overgrown, post-apocalyptic setting, where plant life and habitat restoration are central themes. Players work with Professor Tangrowth while helping Pokémon return to areas that have become unsafe or unsuitable for life.
