Which Marvel co-creator appears in Lego Marvel Super Heroes?

The Marvel co-creator who appears in Lego Marvel Super Heroes is Stan Lee.

Lee is incorporated into the game as both a character in missions called “Stan Lee in Peril” and a playable character. Those rescue missions echo the “Citizen in Peril” objectives found in earlier Lego games, turning Lee’s famous Marvel association into a recurring gameplay feature rather than a brief cameo.

As a playable character, Stan Lee can borrow abilities associated with several heroes, including Spider-Man’s web-swinging, Mister Fantastic’s grappling, Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton, and Hulk’s transformation. This is why the answer is not one of the other famous names listed: Joe Simon, Steve Ditko, and Jack Kirby were all important figures in Marvel history, but the game specifically features Lee in this role. The 2013 game’s story brings Marvel heroes together against Doctor Doom and Loki.
