Which map was the second map released for Among Us?

MIRA HQ was the second map released for Among Us.

The original Among Us map was The Skeld, a spaceship. Innersloth released MIRA HQ on August 8, 2019, making it the game's second map. It is a compact headquarters with a different layout, travel pattern, and surveillance system from The Skeld.

MIRA HQ was followed by Polus on November 12, 2019. The Airship arrived on March 31, 2021, and The Fungle became the fifth map in October 2023. That release order explains a common mistake: players may remember The Airship or Polus as an early map because both became major parts of the game's map roster, but neither was second.

MIRA HQ also has distinctive gameplay features, including a door-log system rather than The Skeld's security-camera arrangement. The map and Polus originally required payment through in-app purchases before later becoming available more broadly.
