Which G.I. Joe character is known as 'The Quiet Samurai'?

Snake Eyes is the G.I. Joe character known as “The Quiet Samurai.” His identity is classified, and he is portrayed as a nearly silent commando and highly skilled martial artist who serves on the G.I. Joe Team.

Snake Eyes was one of the original characters in the 1982 A Real American Hero toyline and debuted in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #1 in June 1982. Larry Hama created the character, whose signature look includes a black uniform, visor, and face covering. The character’s silence and mysterious background became central parts of his appeal.

A common mix-up is Storm Shadow, another ninja associated with the Arashikage clan. Storm Shadow is Snake Eyes’ rival and former comrade, while Snake Eyes is the Joe aligned with Scarlett and the G.I. Joe command. Kamakura is a later ninja character trained by Snake Eyes, not the original Quiet Samurai.
