Which company published The Lego Movie 2 Videogame?
Answer
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
Answer
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment published The Lego Movie 2 Videogame.
The game was developed by Traveller's Tales as a tie-in to The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. It launched on February 26, 2019, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, shortly after the film's release, with a macOS version following on March 14.
The publisher is easy to mix up with the Lego Group because Lego supplied the brand and toy-world identity. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment handled publishing for the game, just as it had for several earlier Lego film adaptations. Traveller's Tales, meanwhile, was the developer rather than the publisher.
Gameplay expands on the series' familiar cooperative action and puzzle format with open-world areas inspired by the movie. Players build structures, explore alien-invasion settings, and use characters from both Lego Movie films. The title was the last Lego Movie videogame published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment before Lego's film partnership changed.
