Trent Crimm hosts the podcast “Through the Laces” in Ted Lasso season 4.
Trent Crimm was previously established as a sports reporter and later followed Richmond while writing The Richmond Way. In season 4, he has returned to journalism in a new form: he hosts his own podcast, Through the Laces.
The character is played by James Lance. Trent's professional history includes writing for The Independent and developing a close relationship with Ted while documenting Richmond's journey.
The podcast title is distinct from Trent's earlier book title. Ted persuaded him to change that book from The Lasso Way to The Richmond Way at the end of season 3, so the two names should not be treated as interchangeable.
