Which Among Us role can check vitals from anywhere? The Scientist can check vitals from anywhere on the map.

The Scientist is a crewmate role introduced in the November 9, 2021 major update. Its defining ability is access to a portable vitals display, letting the player check whether other players are alive or dead without walking to a fixed Vitals station. The ability uses a limited battery that must be recharged by completing tasks.

That information can be valuable after a suspected kill. A Scientist may notice when a player’s status changes, then compare the timing with locations, door logs, camera sightings, or reported bodies. However, the role does not automatically identify the killer, and battery management limits how continuously it can be used.

The distractor roles have different abilities. Guardian Angels can temporarily protect living players after becoming ghosts, Engineers can use vents, and Trackers can follow another player for a limited period. Vitals are therefore specifically associated with the Scientist among these choices.
