Which Among Us map is described as a planet base? Polus is the planet-base map.

Among Us launched with The Skeld, a spaceship, and later added MIRA HQ, a headquarters. Polus arrived on November 12, 2019, as the game’s third map. Its setting is a remote planetary research station, which is why summaries commonly describe it as a “planet base.”

Polus has a much more open layout than MIRA HQ, with outdoor areas, snow-covered ground, buildings, and separated routes. That geography affects how players move, report bodies, and judge suspicious behavior. It also has a Vitals station, which displays whether players are alive or dead.

A common mix-up is confusing Polus with The Skeld because both are associated with the original game’s core maps. The Airship is instead based on Innersloth’s Henry Stickmin series, while MIRA HQ is a tightly packed headquarters. Polus is the only option here that matches the planet-base description.
