What year was Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 released?

The story behind the answer

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1–4 was released in 2010. The action-adventure game was developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Its story adapts the first four years of Harry Potter's education at Hogwarts, corresponding to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire. The game uses Lego's trademark humor while preserving the main structure and characters of the films.

The initial release arrived in June 2010 for Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable. Versions for other platforms appeared later, so some listings show different release years depending on the system.

The most common confusion is with Lego Harry Potter: Years 5–7, the sequel released in 2011. Together, the two games cover all seven books and the eight Harry Potter films.
