What team uses social deduction to find and vote out Impostors?

The story behind the answer

Crewmates use social deduction to identify and vote out Impostors in Among Us.

Most players are assigned the Crewmate role at the start of a round. They move around the map completing tasks while watching player behavior, checking surveillance systems, reporting bodies, and discussing suspicious actions during meetings. Their central challenge is to determine which players are secretly Impostors, who look identical to them.

Crewmates can win by completing the shared task bar or ejecting every Impostor. Impostors, meanwhile, can pretend to perform tasks, sabotage systems, and eliminate Crewmates. The role is inspired partly by Mafia, the party game built around hidden identities and group accusation. A common mix-up is treating “Crewmate” as the name of every player: technically, the player population is divided mainly into Crewmates and Impostors, with special roles such as Engineer and Scientist modifying some Crewmates’ abilities.
