What sales milestone did Pokémon Pokopia reach in its first four days worldwide?

Pokémon Pokopia sold 2.2 million units worldwide in its first four days.

The figure covers the game’s opening four days after its March 5, 2026, worldwide launch. It includes one million units sold in Japan alone, making the Japanese total a major part of the broader worldwide result but not the worldwide figure itself.

Later sales milestones are different. Pokopia reached four million units worldwide by March 2026 and surpassed five million worldwide in just over four months. Those later totals should not be substituted for the opening-four-day figure.

The result made Pokopia a rapid commercial success for Nintendo Switch 2. It also shows why exact wording matters: 2.2 million describes global sales across four days, while one million describes Japan alone during that same early period.
