What is the name of the task that requires swiping a card on The Skeld?

The task that requires swiping a card on The Skeld is Swipe Card.

Swipe Card is a common task located in Admin. To perform it, a Crewmate opens a wallet, takes out an identification card, and drags it through the card reader. The swipe must be neither too fast nor too slow, so the task can take several attempts even though its basic action looks simple.

Players often confuse Swipe Card with other card-related wording, such as Insert Card or Check ID. Those are not the canonical task names in Among Us. The task is officially presented as Swipe Card because the central mechanic is moving the card across the reader at the correct speed.

It is also strategically important because it is a common task. In a standard setup, if one Crewmate has Swipe Card, every Crewmate has the same common task. Conversely, if the lobby’s selected common task is Fix Wiring, nobody should have Swipe Card. The task appears on The Skeld and also on Polus, where its location is Office.
