What is the name of the pet that is a dog?

The Among Us pet that is a dog is named Dog. It is a cosmetic companion that follows its player's character around during a match.

Pets are optional cosmetic items rather than gameplay roles. They do not complete tasks, identify Impostors, trigger meetings, or change a player's abilities. Their main purpose is personalization: players can use them to make their Crewmate look distinctive while moving through the map.

Among Us pets are designed in the game's simple, colorful visual style. The Dog is recognizable by its canine shape and follows the player as they travel between rooms. Like other pets, it remains associated with the player's appearance rather than with the Crewmate or Impostor role itself.

A common mistake is to treat names such as Puppy, Canine, or Wolf as official alternatives. Those descriptions may sound plausible, but the canonical cosmetic name is simply Dog. Pets should also not be confused with hats, skins, or visors, which are separate categories of customization.
