What is the name of Pokémon Pokopia’s permanently gloomy coastal area?
Answer
Bleak Beach
Answer
Bleak Beach
Bleak Beach is Pokémon Pokopia’s permanently gloomy coastal area.
After Ditto befriends Kyogre and reaches a high enough Trainer rank, gates open to two new regions: Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges. Bleak Beach is covered by thick clouds that keep the area dark and gloomy even during the daytime.
Ditto’s main project there is to restore light by repairing and creating different sources of illumination. The lighting work is especially important because Ditto discovers a Snorlax that has slept for so long that moss has grown over its body. This Pokémon receives the nickname Mosslax.
Bleak Beach should not be confused with the Withered Wasteland, where the game begins, or Rocky Ridges, the former mining town covered in volcanic ash. Bubbly Basin belongs to the Expansion Pass content rather than the original pair of areas unlocked after Kyogre’s story.
