The maximum player count in a standard Among Us game is 15.
A standard Among Us lobby can contain up to 15 players. The game’s familiar formula remains the same at that size: most participants are Crewmates completing tasks, while a smaller number are Impostors trying to kill them and sabotage the mission without being voted out.
The 15-player limit was an expansion from the game’s earlier lobby size. Larger rooms create more movement, witnesses, accusations, and uncertainty, while also allowing additional Impostors and more varied strategic situations. Maps and settings still affect how comfortable a lobby feels; a maximum-size group can be hectic, especially on smaller maps.
The figure applies to standard supported multiplayer play, not every custom mode or unofficial modification. Options such as Hide and Seek may use different rules, but they do not change the ordinary lobby maximum. The lower end of the standard range is four players, so the commonly cited capacity is four to fifteen.
