What ability does Ditto use in Pokémon Pokopia to imitate a human?

Ditto uses Transform in Pokémon Pokopia to imitate a human.

The game makes Ditto’s signature transformation ability central to its premise. After finding its trainer’s old Pokédex, Ditto assumes a human-like form modeled on the device’s owner and uses that appearance while exploring and rebuilding the world.

Transform is a particularly fitting choice because Ditto has long been associated with copying other Pokémon. Pokopia extends that familiar idea into a life-simulation setting, allowing the player character to look and function like a human while remaining a Ditto in the story.

This detail is sometimes confused with the game’s crafting mechanics. Building homes, gardens, paths, and other structures is part of gameplay, but those activities are not the reason Ditto can appear human. That explanation comes from Ditto’s transformation ability.
