Pokémon Pokopia launched worldwide on which date?

Pokémon Pokopia launched worldwide on March 5, 2026.

The game was announced during a Nintendo Direct in September 2025 and was initially described as a worldwide spring 2026 release. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company later gave the launch a specific date: March 5, 2026.

Pokopia released as a Nintendo Switch 2 title, making its launch part of the early software lineup for Nintendo’s newer console. It combines social simulation and sandbox mechanics rather than following the structure of a traditional main-series Pokémon adventure.

The announcement date and release date are common sources of confusion. September 12, 2025 was associated with the game’s reveal, not its launch. The worldwide release date was March 5, 2026, the same date used in the game’s infobox and official release information.
