Answer
Prequel trilogy
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game adapts the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
Released in 2005, the game retells Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith in Lego form. Its humorous presentation turns major film scenes, characters, vehicles, and battles into light-hearted action-adventure levels.
Traveller’s Tales developed the main console and Windows versions, helping establish the gameplay formula that became central to later Lego titles: cooperative play, character-specific abilities, collectible studs, puzzles, and slapstick recreations of famous movie moments.
The game is sometimes confused with its sequel, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, which covers Episodes IV–VI. The first game does include a bonus level based on the opening of A New Hope, but that extra content does not change its main subject: the three prequel films.
