Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin expansion released in August 2026. It was the first part of a planned three-part paid expansion pass for the Nintendo Switch 2 game.
The expansion pass extends Pokopia after its March 2026 launch. Bubbly Basin arrived first, while the other two parts were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027. The content is therefore part of the game’s post-launch roadmap rather than the original release package.
The month can be confused with June 2026, when the expansion pass and free-update plans were announced. August is the release month for Bubbly Basin itself, not the month of the announcement.
