In Pokémon Pokopia, Ditto transforms into a human to imitate a person.
That transformation establishes the game’s unusual viewpoint: the player is a Pokémon taking on a human-like form while helping rebuild a post-apocalyptic environment. Ditto’s ability to change appearance is a natural explanation for why the protagonist can perform tasks associated with a human character.
The human form does not turn Ditto into a conventional Pokémon Trainer. Pokopia is not built around collecting badges or commanding a standard team. Instead, the transformed Ditto gathers materials, learns useful moves from Pokémon, and applies those abilities to the surrounding world.
Ditto’s transformation can be confused with ordinary Pokémon disguise mechanics or with a trainer avatar. The defining point is that the playable character remains Ditto; the human appearance is the form it uses while carrying out the adventure.
