In Pokémon Pokopia, each visiting multiplayer player can bring one Pokémon. This companion joins the guest during the shared visit and contributes to the game’s friendly social atmosphere.
The rule is separate from the number of human participants. A host can invite three other players, and each of those guests can bring one Pokémon, so a full session may include several Pokémon companions at once.
This is not the same as carrying a traditional six-Pokémon battle party. Pokopia is a social-simulation spin-off, and its multiplayer feature is designed around visiting, building, and spending time together rather than formal team battles.
The one-companion limit also keeps the shared session readable and personal. Each guest arrives with a single Pokémon connection instead of bringing an entire competitive roster into the host’s world.
