In Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, a purple stud is worth 10,000 points.
Studs are the game’s collectible currency and scoring system. Their value rises by color: silver studs are worth 10 points, gold studs 100, blue studs 1,000 and purple studs 10,000. Purple is therefore the rarest and most valuable standard stud color in the game.
The 2005 title adapts the Star Wars prequel trilogy, covering The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Players collect studs by smashing objects, using the Force, defeating enemies and exploring levels. The total contributes to the stud meter used for level completion and unlocks.
The color values are easy to mix up because silver, gold and blue studs appear more frequently during ordinary play. Purple studs are special high-value collectibles, so finding one can dramatically improve a level score. The game also uses studs to buy characters, hints and cheats at Dexter’s Diner, its central hub.
