In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, what is the name of the hidden library beneath Masyaf?
Answer
Altaïr's Library
Answer
Altaïr's Library
Altaïr's Library is the hidden library beneath Masyaf in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
The library was created by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, the Assassin Mentor whose life is shown in the first game. Altaïr hid six seals inside it, with each seal containing a memory that Ezio can experience. The library therefore connects the stories of the two major historical protagonists.
Ezio travels to Masyaf early in Revelations, hoping to uncover the library and learn more about the Assassins' past. He later obtains the seals in Constantinople, where much of the game takes place. When the library is opened, Ezio finds that Altaïr's final resting place is inside.
The site is not the same as the First Civilization's Grand Temple, which belongs to the modern-day storyline. It is also different from the vaults and sanctuaries scattered through other games. The library is a specific Masyaf location tied directly to Altaïr's legacy.
