Norway is Eivor’s original homeland in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Eivor begins the game as a Viking in ninth-century Norway before traveling with the Raven Clan to establish a settlement in England.
The Norwegian opening introduces Eivor, the clan’s political situation, and the conflict with King Harald Fairhair. The campaign later shifts its main focus to England, where the Raven Clan builds Ravensthorpe and forms alliances with regional rulers.
England is therefore the game’s main later setting, but it is not Eivor’s homeland. Denmark is another Scandinavian country, while Iceland is not the starting region shown in Valhalla.
Valhalla was released in 2020. Eivor can be played as male or female, and the game presents both versions as the same character within its story and historical setting.
