Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Answer
Assassin's Creed Rogue
Assassin's Creed Rogue is the first game to feature Shay Cormac as its playable protagonist.
Released in 2014, Rogue follows Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who becomes disillusioned with the Brotherhood after a disastrous mission. He later joins the Templar Order, making the game notable for presenting the series' central conflict largely from a Templar perspective.
The story takes place during the eighteenth century and connects events from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed III. Shay travels through the North Atlantic, the North American River Valley, and New York. His ship, the Morrigan, supports exploration and naval combat in colder waters than those featured in Black Flag.
Shay should not be confused with Connor Kenway, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III, or Arno Dorian, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Unity. Rogue was released alongside Unity and shares historical and narrative links with it, but Shay's first playable appearance is specifically in Rogue.
