Cleopatra allies with Bayek in Assassin’s Creed Origins. The game is set during Cleopatra VII’s struggle for control of Egypt, including her conflict with her brother Ptolemy XIII and the Roman intervention led by Julius Caesar.
Bayek and Aya work with Cleopatra because the Order of the Ancients supports forces threatening her position. Their alliance gives the protagonists access to political networks and military campaigns, while also placing them alongside figures such as Caesar and Pompey. The game fictionalizes secret societies, but Cleopatra’s family relationships and political setting draw on the Ptolemaic period.
Cleopatra is not presented as the founder of the Assassins; Origins depicts Bayek and Aya forming the Hidden Ones after the main conflict. Nefertiti and Hatshepsut belonged to earlier eras, and Boudica appears in a different historical context.
