In Among Us, which team has the objective of killing Crewmates?

In Among Us, the Impostors have the objective of killing Crewmates.

Impostors are the hidden opposing team in the game. They appear similar to Crewmates, allowing them to move through the map, pretend to perform tasks, and participate in meetings while concealing their identities. Their central goal is to eliminate enough Crewmates to gain a winning numbers advantage.

Impostors can kill Crewmates directly, but they also use sabotage to create emergencies, divide players, or prevent tasks from being completed. They can win when the number of Crewmates matches the number of Impostors, or when a critical sabotage is not resolved in time. Ejecting a Crewmate can also help them reach that condition through deception.

Ghosts are not a team with this objective: they are eliminated players who can still assist their side in limited ways. Likewise, Trackers and Engineers are specialized Crewmate roles, not rival factions. “Impostors” is therefore the single canonical answer.
