Pokémon Pokopia features 300 Pokémon selected from Generations I through IX.
The game’s large roster supports its habitat-building concept. Different Pokémon appear when players create environments suited to them, such as planting grass beneath a tree or placing a punching bag beside a bench.
These Pokémon are more than collectible background characters. They can befriend Ditto, teach it moves, help cultivate the world, and interact with one another. Their individual needs also influence how players design habitats; Hoothoot, for example, enjoys darkness.
The figure of 300 refers to the Pokémon included in the game’s selection, not the total number of species introduced across the entire Pokémon franchise. Pokopia draws from nine generations rather than covering every Pokémon species.
