Four players can be present simultaneously on a Pokémon Pokopia Cloud Island. The feature is designed as a shared online space where players can build and improve an island together.
Cloud Island differs from ordinary visits to another player’s settlement. It supports a persistent collaborative environment, meaning members can contribute at different times rather than requiring every registered participant to be online together. Even so, the simultaneous play limit is four people.
That distinction creates two numbers that players may confuse: an island can involve more people over time, but only four can play there at once. The limit applies to concurrent players, not necessarily to the total number of people who may be associated with a shared island. Pokopia also includes other multiplayer options, including Palette Town and GameShare, so not every multiplayer mode has exactly the same rules.
