Who was one of the cinematographers for the DC series Lanterns?

The story behind the answer

Armando Salas was one of the cinematographers for the DC series Lanterns.

Salas shared cinematography duties with Florian Hoffmeister. Their work helped establish the series’ visual contrast between Nebraska-style small-town locations, character-focused drama, and the science-fiction elements associated with the Green Lantern Corps.

Lanterns was filmed primarily in Los Angeles, with Warner Bros. Studios Burbank also used during production. Scenes representing Rushville, Nebraska were filmed in Piru, California, whose main street doubled for the fictional town.

The role is different from the production designer’s work. John Paino designed the production environments, while Salas worked with the camera and lighting to capture those environments on screen. James Hawes directed the first two episodes, and Stephanie Economou composed the score, so neither is the correct cinematography answer.
