Who designed the costumes for the DC series Lanterns?

The story behind the answer

Cynthia Summers designed the costumes for the DC series Lanterns.

The production’s costume approach emphasizes a grounded, contemporary drama rather than brightly colored superhero uniforms. Hal Jordan and John Stewart wear civilian clothing throughout much of the series, helping the story resemble a terrestrial crime investigation.

Jordan’s Lantern outfit is described as a muted, faded green jacket. Its design avoids an overtly futuristic science-fiction appearance and reflects the production’s preference for practical, worn-in clothing.

John Paino was the production designer, not the costume designer. Florian Hoffmeister and Armando Salas worked as cinematographers. Those departments contribute to the show’s visual identity but do not share Summers’ costume-design credit.
