Who voices E.V., Spider-Man’s AI assistant, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

Naomi Watts voices E.V., Spider-Man’s AI assistant, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

E.V. is an artificial intelligence Peter Parker builds for himself after losing access to Tony Stark’s money and technology. The assistant reflects Peter’s more independent circumstances after the events of No Way Home.

The voice performance comes from Naomi Watts, who previously worked with Tom Holland in The Impossible. E.V. is not the same character as Tony Stark’s AI systems such as J.A.R.V.I.S. or F.R.I.D.A.Y.; E.V. belongs to Peter’s homemade technology in this film.

Peter also constructs a device called the Fabricator, which combines sewing-machine and 3D-printer functions to build and repair his suit. Together, E.V. and the Fabricator show Peter developing his own resources.
