Which Marvel vigilante does Jon Bernthal portray in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

Jon Bernthal portrays the Marvel vigilante the Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Bernthal plays Frank Castle, a former military serviceman who wages a violent war on crime after the murder of his family. The character is commonly known by his alias, the Punisher, and is one of Marvel Comics’ most prominent antiheroes.

Brand New Day continues Bernthal’s live-action portrayal of Frank Castle, which began in the Netflix series Daredevil and continued in The Punisher. The film brings the character into a theatrical MCU Spider-Man story, pairing his darker crime-fighting methods with Peter Parker’s more restrained approach to protecting civilians.
