Who voiced Master Wu in The Lego Ninjago Movie?

Jackie Chan voiced Master Wu in The Lego Ninjago Movie. Chan also plays Wu in the film's live-action framing scenes, where the character appears as the elderly shopkeeper Mr. Liu.

Master Wu is the wisecracking kung-fu master who trains and guides the Secret Ninja Force. He is the brother of Lord Garmadon and the uncle of Lloyd Garmadon, giving him a personal connection to the film's central father-and-son conflict.

Chan's involvement extends beyond voice acting. He choreographed the live-action fight scenes featuring Master Wu, and the animators used those movements as inspiration for the film's stylized LEGO action. This helped connect Chan's recognizable martial-arts style with the movie's playful animation.

Master Wu teaches the ninjas that they must rely less on their mechs and more on their own abilities and teamwork. He also introduces Lloyd to the idea of inner peace. Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Ken Watanabe are all celebrated Asian actors, but none voices Master Wu in this movie.
