Answer
George O'Hanlon
Who voiced George Jetson? George Jetson was voiced by George O'Hanlon.
O'Hanlon supplied the voice of the bumbling family breadwinner in the original 1962–63 series. His performance helped define George as an ordinary, exasperated employee placed in extraordinary surroundings: he commuted by flying car, worked for Spacely Space Sprockets, and repeatedly found himself overwhelmed by futuristic technology.
The role was one of O'Hanlon's best-known achievements, but it followed a substantial screen career. He was an actor and writer associated especially with Warner Bros.' Joe McDoakes comedy shorts. That experience in live-action comedy translated well to George's rapid complaints, panic, and familiar catchphrase, “Jane! Stop this crazy thing!”
O'Hanlon returned to the character when The Jetsons was revived with new syndicated episodes in the 1980s. He also recorded work connected with Jetsons: The Movie, but died in 1989 during production. Later productions therefore used replacement performers, most notably Jeff Bergman, which can create confusion about who voiced George in different versions.
