What is the name of the rival company to Spacely Sprockets?

Cogswell Cogs is the rival company to Spacely Sprockets in The Jetsons. It is owned by Mr. Cogswell, Spacely’s persistent business competitor and a recurring source of trouble for George Jetson and his employer.

The two companies form one of the show’s central workplace jokes: Spacely Sprockets represents George’s workplace, while Cogswell’s organization continually competes with it, schemes against it, or tries to gain a technological advantage. The company’s name is also a mechanical pun, pairing “cogs” with Spacely’s “sprockets,” both terms associated with machinery and gears.

Some references use the expanded name “Cogswell’s Cosmic Cogs,” while others simply call it “Cogswell Cogs.” Those forms refer to the same rival business. The answer is therefore conventionally accepted as Cogswell Cogs, not the unrelated-sounding alternatives Acme Sprockets, Jet Industries, or Sprocket Inc.
