The series requires a musical identity that can work in two contrasting spaces. Much of the story takes place in the American heartland, where Hal Jordan and John Stewart investigate a murder, but the characters are also connected to the intergalactic Green Lantern Corps.
The composer’s work is separate from the show’s writing and directing credits. Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof and Tom King created the series, while James Hawes directed the first two episodes and additional directors handled later episodes.
